Whenever possible, we will let you know about the approximate lead times for delivery at the time of order. We will give you a call to go over other choices if there is a chance of a delay or if we are unable to deliver by the date you have specified. The company does not guarantee any certain time or date for deliveries; all times and dates are approximations. In this regard, the contract's time will not be of the essence. The times shown are subject to force majeure and are based on best efforts. Within 5 days of the delivery date, the buyer must notify the company of any shortages or non-delivery. Before signing for any items, make sure they are all in order.
Due to insurance regulations, our normal delivery service is made to the "kerb side," not inside the house; thus, please make arrangements for sufficient assistance with offloading. It is expected that the delivery address will be accessible because your delivery may be delivered by van or truck. It is the client's obligation to notify LA Floor Coverings UK of any parking or road limitations. If there are indicators that anything might go wrong, such a time zone limitation, a vehicle weight or width restriction, or the road being a part of a "Red route," When placing your order, please let us know so we may talk about other delivery choices.
Deliveries take place between roughly 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, or until the order is completed. Regretfully, the courier retains discretion on requests for an Estimated Time of Delivery. You will be responsible for any additional fees associated with redelivery if your item arrives as scheduled but we are unable to deliver it because you are not home or there is insufficient assistance available.
In order to guarantee that delivery service requirements are upheld, LA Floor Coverings UK has partnered with trustworthy delivery partners. For this reason, it's crucial to sign for your order when it arrives and inspect the package for any visible damage to the products. Please make sure that the courier notes any damaged or missing items on their documentation and you take a picture of that signed document, if you are unfortunate enough to receive them. In order to ensure that we are aware of the issue, we also strongly advise that you get in touch with us personally as soon as possible. Within 4 days of receiving the items, this notification must be sent to the company.
We disclaim all liability for any ensuing losses. Therefore, until the goods have been received and inspected, we advise against scheduling installation. We have the right to charge you for any carriage costs we incur in returning products that are refused upon delivery but are later confirmed to be undamaged upon return.
You have to sign for damaged good if they are found to be damaged.
If you sign them checked or unchecked and they turn out damaged, we cannot replace or reimburse you.
If the driver won’t wait while you check the items, don't sign for them and call us with the name of the driver. You can accept the goods but we are not liable if they are damaged.
Please do not assume that the goods are intact just because the packing is intact.
